Nehelenia attacks Jupiter over and over who is defending a defenseless Usagi. Eventually Jupiter falls, and one of her rose earrings drops to the ground in front of Usagi. Jupiter reaches for her saying, “Usagi” before being trapped in Nehelenia’s mirror.
I really like how in this scene, Jupiter’s rose earring is very important, because it reminds Usagi about Mamoru and she comes out of her trance. Tied very nicely to one of the earlier episodes, when Usagi exclaims how pretty Mako’s rose earrings are.
